In 2010, Licia and I set out to collaborate on a boutique collection of picture books and  classroom resources for children. Combining Licia’s gift for teaching with my passion for crafting story and illustration, we would never have expected to be here now, working with the families that we do each day.

What began with a series of watercolour characters, led us to establishing this wonderful education centre in Sydney’s Inner West. Through hard work, unwavering commitment to our students and by doing things our own way, blue boots has become a highly recommended service provider in our community. 

Over the last 7 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with over 1000 students and families in our local workshop. Together, we’ve built a special place of learning, providing a much loved workplace that gives teachers the freedom to do what they enjoy, while having the greatest impact on the lives of their students. 

The thing about blue boots is, we’re a family, first and foremost. The importance of our own family to us, extends right to the heart of the values that we live and operate by within our classrooms. We work tirelessly each year to design and deliver educational services that would exceed the expectations of those who know us best.

In 2021, we’ll continue to work hard, as professionals, parents (and now grandparents) ourselves, we know that the job is never done and there is always room to grow. We have a highly motivated team of educators leading our English and Mathematics programs, always eager to better their best and take their students to new heights.
